This varied role supports security governance, risk management, assurance, operational security, and incident response activities. The successful candidatewill leadand support the investigation, containment, remediation, and recovery of security incidents, while driving lessons learned and continuous improvement.\nWorking autonomously and with a proactive, self-driven approach, the rolerequires effective stakeholder engagement across the business to managesecurity risks and promote secure-by-design practices across programmes, processes, and technology solutions\nCore duties:\nApply security policies, standards, and procedures to ensure compliant outcomes.\nLeadsecurity incident response, investigation, remediation, recovery, and lessons learned.\nConduct security approvals for access, connectivity, and overseas IT usage.\nProvide security SMEguidance to programmes, projects, and operational teams\nAssess and managesecurity risks, advising stakeholders on current and emerging threats.\nEssential Skills:\nRelevant degree or equivalent experience in Information/ Cyber Security or Information Technology related subject.\nKnowledge of IT Infrastructure (hardware, databases, operating systems, local area network, etc) and associated security controls.\nDemonstrable knowledge and experience of Information Security principles\nProfessional security and networking certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CompTIA Security+, CompTIA Network+, or equivalent industry-recognised qualifications would be advantageous\nThe Information Security Team:\nYou will join a high-performing, fast-paced team of six information security professionals supporting over 6,000 users across the business.
