A further important part of the rolewill be to offer process engineering support to the project delivery teams in delivering their milestones.\nCore Duties:\nDevelop new processes, in line with Engineering Plans and Budgets. Technical solutions and processes mustbe robust, timely, cost-effective and meet Customer expectations\nDevelop safe systems of work for new processes in line with the business managementsystem and lifecycle managementframework\nEnsure that processes comply with industry standard controlsthat ensure long term process stability, including: Process ControlPlans, PFMEAs\nSpecify and commission new equipment, often working with suppliers to meet tight deadlines. Ensure all process equipment meets regulatory and safety standards\nCoordinate and managea project data file capturing process and design information; to include trials data, process definition (including drawings and specifications), certification and safety data. This data is to be controlled through the company’s Product Lifecycle Managementsystem\nLeadand support project activities to include process reviews, capability studies, and Safe System of Work\nEssential Skills:\nYou will have a minimum HNC / HND Mechanical, Electrical, Manufacturing, Chemical or equivalent experience\nYou will have a good understanding of project/risk managementand the ability to use associated tools and techniques\nYou will have good technical and manufacturing base, show initiativeand be able to work to tight deadlines\nYou will have experience and demonstrated knowledge in manufacturing in a high volume manufacturing environment\nYou will be a professional individualwho is self-motivated, able to demonstrate good planning and organisational skills\nThe team:\nA challengingopportunity has arisen at Glascoed for a Manufacturing Process Engineer working within a multi-disciplined team involved in the design, manufacture and support of new products and processes.\nYou will be responsible for the development of processes from concept through to install and commissioning.
