Job Description:

You will be tasked with the bidding and execution of a key project which is critical to the delivery of our business. Typically, these projects involve product development and delivery, insertion of new processes/capabilities or service delivery. This will include development of bids & proposals to support a range of orders & customers, you will achieve this through managementof resources & work packages, ensuring service delivery.

Core duties:

• You will be accountable for delivery of the projects included within their portfolio
• You will monitor and report project/programme performance for schedule, technical, financial and quality objectives
• You will be responsible for ensuring that accurate forward load data is derived for projects from the business toolsets
• You will establish and maintain excellent customer and supplier relationships maintaining regular communications and managingexpectations
• You will undertake Risk Managementactivities

Essential Skills:

• You will hold a Degree-level qualification (engineering discipline preferred) or comparable experience in the engineering/manufacturing sector, with demonstrable Project Managementdelivery experience, ideally from a comparable industry
• You will be formally trained in Project Management(accredited by APM, PMI or PRINCE), with knowledge of scheduling and risk software tools (e.g. MS Project & Predict!), as well as experience of SAP
• You will have experience in building customer relationships and achieving high levels of customer satisfaction
• You will demonstrate experience in managingrisks and opportunities to the benefit of the projects
• You will showcase experience working as a Project Manageror Project Engineer in Manufacturing or Engineering sector

The Medium Calibre Team:

This is an opportunity to hit the ground running in a key role where capability is being reinstated, with a focus on serial manufacturing & production readiness. Coming into a priority programme, you will face key stakeholders which include the MoD and various other partners and customers.
