They will work closely with technical and engineering teams to ensure platform and system safety requirements are met and support platform safety certification through evaluation of designs, review of certification evidence, and development of safety arguments. The roleinvolves assisting engineering teams in producing Preliminary Hazard Lists, Hazard Analyses, decomposition of safety requirements, and validation of supplier safety documentation. Additionally, the candidatewill liaise with certification groups and customers to achieve project safety objectivesand contribute to programme managementactivities, including estimates, project scheduling, progress reporting, and functional business reviews.\nCore duties:\nSupport the development and maintenance of safety capability\nDevelop and maintain System Safety Plans, processes and procedures.\nWork closely with technical and engineering teams to ensure platform and system safety requirements are met.\nSupport platform safety certification through design evaluation, certification evidence reviews and development of safety arguments.\nAssist engineering teams with the production of Preliminary Hazard Lists and Hazard Analyses.\nSupport the decomposition and validation of safety requirements.\nReview and validate supplier safety documentation.\nLiaise with certification teams and customers to achieve project safety objectives.\nContribute to programme managementactivities including estimates, project scheduling, progress reporting and functional business reviews.\nSupport the continuous improvement of safety processes, procedures and capability within the organisation.\nEssential Skills:\nStrongexperience in Product and System Safety, including safety standards, regulatory frameworks and Safety ManagementSystems.\nExperience developing System Safety Programme Plans, hazard logs and conducting PHA, ZHA and system/sub-system hazard analyses.\nProvenexperience in a safety critical industry,\nExperience providing Safety SMEguidance across design, architecture and engineering activities.\nExperience leadingand developing engineering teams and embedding safety best practice.\nThe FalconWorks Systems Engineering Integration Team:\nJoin the FalconWorks Systems Engineering Integration Team and leada highly skilled group of safety specialists driving the delivery of functional system safety across cutting-edgeaerospace projects.
