This role will undertake Project\nManagement activities within the respective technical delivery areas to ensure\nkey PM tenets are discharged and upheld.\n\nThe incumbent will be required to gather,\nsynthesize & integrate information relating to performance (cost, resources\nand outputs), generate, monitor and report progress against plans, identify\ntrends, analyze and interpret data and information to ensure all data and\ninformation is accurate, generate and publish regular reports, including\ninternal contract review packs and external customer facing material\n\nHierarchically, this role will report into the\nProject Management Lead, who will provide support, leadership and the PM\ngovernance framework the incumbent will be required to operate within.\n\nThe role will also be required to support and\nconduct any ad-hoc PM activities required due to the nature of Operations at\nDukhan Airbase.\n\nProjectManagement:\n·Provide\nProject Management support to Dukhan Delivery areas\n·Run a subset\nof the Dukhan Business Rhythm, ensuring Risk, Opportunity, Change\n(Organisational or Technical) and Spend are reviewed within CAM133\n·Co-ordinate\nand facilitate agreed OPR inputs on behalf of each delivery area\n·Act as the\ndeployed Project Management conscience of the Dukhan Operation, ensuring\ndelivery areas remain within governance, escalating issues as required.\n·Operate as\n‘critical friends’ of the deployed areas, providing a valued Project Management\nservice whilst driving and upholding PM values and standards\n·Support\ncompilation of PM&C artefacts into the drumbeat Dukhan SMT Business Rhythm\nreviews (for example, Change Requests)\n·Champion\nContinuous Improvement initiatives into the CI lead,seeking to maximise operational efficiency\nand minimising costs;\n·Responsible\nfor managing the financial information for the allocated area, to feed the\nContract Status Reports (CSR);\n·Responsible\nfor managing the Risk and Opportunities (financial, quality, scope and quality)\nwithin the allocated area\n·Develop,\nmanage and maintain integrated program schedules for non-recurring elements of\nwork\n·Manage and\nmeasure delivery against the contract, advising on contractual compliance /\nshortfalls for both BAES and the QEAF (BFP/R)\n·Co-ordinate,\ncontrol and report against internal and contractual KPI’s\n·Act as an\ninterface with junior officers within the QEAF for the allocated area for all\napplicable Project Delivery requirements\n·Responsible\nfor managing the resource manpower within the allocated area from a PM\nstandpoint (e.g. cost, resource planning, capacity modelling)\n·Support\nreviews (preparation or attendance) including but not limited to OPR, QCRs,\nQBRs, risk & opportunity, Change Control Boards, Business Operations and\ncustomer PRMs;\n·ProvidesupporttotheBusiness Management Leadfor\ncontroloftheResourcemanagementaspects oftheTyphoonAvailabilityService\nAdditionalresponsibilities/Activities:\n·EnsurecompliancewiththemandatedBAESystemsGovernanceFramework,including,\nbut not limited to; Life Cycle Management (LCM), Business Continuity Management\n(BCM)-IncidentManagement(IM), Gifts& Hospitality(G&H),Responsible Document Record Management\n(RDRM), Export Control, SHE, et al.\n·Thisrolewillalsoberequiredtosupportandconductanyad-hocPMactivitiesrequired due to the nature of Operations\nat Dukhan Airbase.\nRequirements\nEssential:\nFunctional Knowledge & Experience:\nExperienced and in-depth Project Control knowledge and techniques in an Operational Aircraft Support environment is preferred;\n\nExperienced resource demand management and forecasting;\nHigh level of MS Office knowledge and application;\nProgramme Reporting experience;\nUnderstanding and appreciation of operating in a customer-focusedorganisation in the Middle East;\n\nCommercial and Contractual Awareness;\nPurchasing Process and Export control awareness;\nContract Status Reporting (CSRs).\nAbility to speak& write fluent English\n\nQualifications:\n·L6 Project Management Degree\n(complete or in-progress), or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained\nthrough experience;\nBusiness Expertise:\n·Requires good analytical\nskills, able to manipulate data to identify trends and data shortages.
