This is a new site with the opportunity to be involved in the early lifecycle phases of a future Submarine programme using cutting edgetechnology and engaging with the wider Submarines programmes and supply chain.\nCore duties:\nYou’ll support the development of design solutions to agreed time, cost and quality in accordance with project or business milestones\nYou’ll support the development and managementof requirements specific to a system or product and/or across a system of systems, platform or programme\nYou will ensure design proving evidence is comprehensive, captured within the requirements managementtools and has been endorsed by the appropriate level of authority\nYou’ll support the development of estimates for the scope of work and resources required to deliver it in order to support bids, proposal development and project planning activities for various systems\nYou will be working with various engineering teams to improve ownlevels of domain knowledge and subject matter expertise\nEssential Skills:\nKnowledge of Systems Engineering processes and practices\nKnowledge or previous exposure of the engineering lifecycle\nKnowledge or experience within defence / maritime environments (Desirable)\nThe Systems Engineering team:\nTo support our ongoing need to recruit the best engineering talent, BAE Systems Submarines has opened a brand-new office in Coventry.
