You will use your knowledge and experience to guarantee delivery of Manufacturing Engineering outputs into Operations that ensure design intent can be met. Your role holder may have the opportunity to advise, coach and leadother team members as part of their daily responsibilities.\nCore duties:\nResponsible for converting the Engineering Design intent into Manufacturing Engineering data (sometimes complex) for Manufacturing Operations use\nBuilding effective internal and cross functional relationships in order to achieve overall Project requirements\nSupporting justifications/business cases that seek to improve business performance, and thus provide optimised return on capital investment\nAssuring product and process quality as determinedby company processes. Develop and test new systems when the need arises\nActing as a project focal point for discipline specific tasks ensuring best practices are adopted and embedded. This may involve developing processes within their sub-discipline by studying product requirements; researching, designing, modifying, and testing development methods and equipment by conferring with field specialists and technologists\nEssential Skills:\nHNC or equivalent, plus substantial experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role OR Foundation degree with experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role\nExperience in defining and managingKey Performance Indicators\nExperience in performing route cause analysisand reporting on countermeasures\nProfessional knowledge of relevant Engineering standards (including SHEregulations)\nThe SSNA Manufacturing Engineering team:\nThe SSNA Manufacturing Engineering Team is responsible for developing, implementing, and governing robust manufacturing, assembly, disassembly, repair, and verification methods that support the successful delivery of the SSNA programme. The team ensures that manufacturing processes are safe, efficient, and capable of meeting customer and business requirements for Safety, Quality, Cost, and Delivery throughout the product lifecycle. Working closely with a wide range of stakeholders, the team maintains compliance with design intent and drives continuous improvement to enable the successful manufacture and support of complexengineering solutions.
