This position focuses on coordinating and integrating engineering activities across an international team, ensuring the successful development of future mission system concepts, architectures, and designs. The rolecombines systems engineering, stakeholder management, agile delivery, and engineering governance, working closely with customers, partners, suppliers, and Ministry of Defence stakeholders.\nCore Duties:\nCoordinate engineering activities across multidisciplinary teams to support the delivery of advanced mission system capabilities.\nBuild and maintain strongrelationships with UK and international partners, customers, and key programme stakeholders.\nSupport programme planning and scheduling activities, tracking progress and ensuring engineering milestones are achieved.\nFacilitate agile planning, task management, and performance reporting across engineering teams.\nLeadand coordinate technical reviews, governance meetings, and working groups to support programme delivery.\nCollaborate with project managers, delivery teams, and engineering leadsto identify risks, resolve issues, and drive successful outcomes.\nChampioncontinuous improvement initiatives, enhancing quality, efficiency, and team performance.\nProvide guidance and support to engineering leaders, helping ensure the successful delivery of current and future programmes.\nEssential Skills:\nDegree qualified in Engineering, Systems Engineering, Aerospace, Electronics, Computer Science or another STEM-related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.\nExperience working within a systems engineering environment across the full engineering lifecycle.\nStrongunderstanding of systems engineering principles, processes, and best practices.\nExperience using systems engineering methods, frameworks, and modelling tools such as UML, SysML, MoDAF, MOOD, or similar.\nThe Mission Systems Delivery (MSDT) Team:\nJoin a pioneering team helping shape the future of military aviation. As a Mission Senior Systems Engineer, you’ll support the delivery of innovative mission system solutions for the Future Combat Air System (FCAS) programme.
