Post-delivery these facilities require back-office engineering support at Warton and infrequently off-site locations.\nCore duties:\nDevelopment, testing and release of aircraft software simulations and software testing tools\nDevelopment, integration, test and release of MaTE related products, such as DTVR\nDevelopment, integration, test and release of the MaTE Software\n2nd line support - fault investigation resulting from complexMaTE / DTVR Users queries\nReview and analysisof suitable toolsets and methodologies\nConfiguration and Version Control\nManagingbudgets and schedules\nEssential Skills:\nA degree in a STEM subject or equivalent relevant experience\nExtensive programming experience and will ideally have experience developing simulations and/or aircraft software, with experience of test tools\nExperience of software development activities using languages such as C#, C++ or Ada\nThe ability to manageworkload across multiple programmes and balancing priorities and pro-activelyresolve issues impacting programmes, escalating any issues for resolution by exception\nKnowledge of software development lifecycle and associated standards\nRig & Synthetic Environments Team:\nThe job holder will be part of an engineering team responsible for the development, integration and testing of a through life testing platform.
