With clear career progression opportunities, this role offers excellent scope for professional growth within a high-performing team.\nCore duties:\nThe electrical Set to Work of all T26 Platform Equipment from Gas Turbines, Gearboxes and Generators to IndividualPumps / Fans and Instrumentation\nResponsible for ships live systems electrical safety through permits and energisation programmes under the safe systems of work policies\nAttending all ships sea trials and demonstrate major machinery to the client and acceptance authorities\nFault finding and technical investigation into design issues\nWriting test and acceptance documentation for all ship platform systems to use at ship and demonstrate to naval authorities\nEssential skills:\nMinimum qualification of HNC Level in an engineering discipline (extensive experience will be considered where academic qualifications are not met)\nAbility to work in a multi-discipline fast pacedenvironment and good communication skills with internal and external customers\nComplexShips Systems Fault Finding and Resolution for Set to work\nAbility to read and understand technical electrical engineering drawing and manuals for complexequipment\nEngineers should hold relevant STEM qualifications and work towards Incorporated or Chartered status through a recognised professional institution. Support will be provided for accreditation, with preference given to professionally registered candidates.\nThe T26 Platform commissioning team:\nThe T26 Platform commissioning Team is a fast-pacedenvironment with exciting prospects and high levels of responsibility. The team takes an in build dead ship, and energises all the ships platform systems, sets them to work and ultimately delivers an operation T26 Frigate to the royal Navay through a series of sea trials.
