Working closely with engineering teams, subcontractors, and Supply Chain colleagues, you will coordinate the timely provision of technical inputs to ensure compliant project delivery. You will managedocumentation throughout its lifecycle within a Common Source Database (CSDB) environment, maintaining accuracy, consistency, and configuration controlthrough to the creation and delivery of Interactive Electronic Technical Publications (IETPs)\nCore duties:\nAccountable for the quality and product safety of their ownscheduled work\nProduction of Technical Data and Documentation are complete, coherent and consistent\nAwareness of Technical Documentation ManagementPlans\nAwareness of key stakeholders and contract objectivesand deliverables. Liaison with other engineering and support functions as required across the business\nUnderstanding of current Military and commercial standards and techniques and their application\nApplication of the Technical Publications Business Managementprocedures\nComply with statutory requirements, regulations and company procedures, including SHEand managingITAR\nConsistently apply Engineering Governance\nAccountable for configuration controlon deliverables, including the liaison with Engineering team\nSupport customer requests, answering or seeking support to answer as necessary\nEssential Skills:\nYou’ll hold an HNC qualification (or equivalent experience) with demonstrable knowledge and experience in the production of technical documentation\nYou’ll have working level knowledge of DEF STAN 00-600, JSP 886, S1000D and JSP 822\nYou’ll have a good understanding of technical documentation within the Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) discipline and its through-life support requirements\nThe Technical Documentation & Information (Digital) Team:\nThe Technical Documentation & Information (Digital) Team comprises 19 colleagues across Portsmouth Naval Base and Filton, supporting the delivery of technical publications for Royal Navy platforms, including Type45 and Type26 programmes.
