The role combines technical and security engineering expertise, stakeholder engagement, and hands-on implementation capability to improve cyber resilience, strengthen identity and access controls, enhance data protection, and reduce organisational risk.\nThe role requires an individual capable of operating independently within complex stakeholder environments, assessing security weaknesses, developing remediation approaches, and successful implementation.\nWhat you’ll be doing\nProvide technical engineering expertise across a range of Cyber Uplift engagements within Government Departments.\nDevelop high level technical remediation strategies into specific remediation activities/technical implementations to improve client security maturity.\nSupport technical design reviews and security workshops with customer stakeholders.\nProvide integration between Architecture and Engineering to ensure remediation activities align with enterprise security architectures.\nSupport translation of security findings, vulnerabilities and audit observations into practical remediation plans.\nDeep technical expertise across Microsoft security technologies.\nSkills & Experience\nStrong understanding of:\nIdentity and Access Management\nZero Trust Architecture\nData Protection\nSecurity Operations\nThreat Detection and Response\nCloud Security\nExperience implementing Microsoft Sentinel and Defender technologies at enterprise scale.\nExperience implementing Data Loss Prevention and Information Protection capabilities.\nStrong understanding of Azure and Microsoft 365 security architectures.\nExperience configuring and troubleshooting complex enterprise security environments.\nAbility to personally deliver hands-on technical configuration and remediation activities.\nExperience deploying security controls across hybrid and cloud environments.\nUnderstanding of Government security requirements and operating models.\nOur Team\nWe work hard and often go the extra mile, but we recognise people’s efforts and that everyone has a life outside of work.
