This role will be focused on supporting our customers mission, protecting themselves and others from security risks and implementing new capabilities across a variety of ICT and operational technology (OT) systems. NV2 may be considered if hold an OSA \nAbout the role\nYou will be responsible for:\nBeing self starting, capable of working solo BA capacity within a multidisciplinary team.\nIdentification and documentation of stakeholders and their needs and drivers\nFacilitating scoping and business priority setting for small, medium or large capability changes, engaging stakeholders as required\nEliciting and authoring scoping document business requirements, system requirements and business processes.\nCapture and evaluation of both ‘pain points’ and ideas for improvement, prioritising possible improvements and obtaining buy-in for an improvement plan\nTaking an active role in stakeholder workshops\nSupporting business development teams as needed, contributing to consulting elements of client responses\nAuthoring relevant business change-related materials to support rollout of new capabilities\nResearch into potential tools clients may need to satisfy requirement\nWorking with engineering teams to ensure they get the information they need from business stakeholders\nHighlighting potential opportunities for business growth\nContributing to the development of others and the internal Consulting practice\nMaintaining an awareness of the various BAE Systems capabilities\nFunctional requirements\nMust hold a PV clearance. NV2 may be considered if hold an OSA \nWillingness to travel to client sites for project work\nKey skills and experience\nPrevious Business Analysis experience including:\nAuthoring of different levels of requirements\nEngaging with stakeholders of different types, seniority etc\nRunning meetings/workshops to elicit information, demonstrate systems etc\nDefining as-is and to-be processes\nCreation of various artefacts to communicate concepts that are well structured, appropriate for the audience and tell the story in a concise and logical way\nWorking with engineering teams as part of coherent project delivery\nIdeally some experience operating in a lead BA capacity\nCommunicates fluently, orally and in writing, and can present complex information to both technical and non-technical audiences when engaging with colleagues or users/customers\nHas attention to detail, is proactive and organised\nIs flexible, willing to get involved in a variety of tasks with different people across different projects or internal tasks\nDemonstrable stakeholder management and engagement experience \nTakes responsibility for delivering outputs, including work packages and small projects\nShares knowledge and expertise with others\nIs able to respond to setbacks in an agile and resilient manner\nMaintains an awareness of developing practices and their application and takes responsibility for driving own development\nWhy BAE Systems?\nThis is a place where you’ll be able to make a real difference.
