Based in Adelaide, the position offers a permanent, full-time (or part-time) opportunity for someone looking to build a long-term career specialising in manufacturing engineering systems within a shipbuilding production environment.\nCore Duties:\nDevelop installation strategies for complex maritime systems within a shipbuilding environment.\nAct as a technical expert supporting installation, testing and issue resolution.\nInvestigate technical issues and perform fault finding across integrated ship systems.\nDevelop production documentation, manufacturing instructions and test procedures.\nCollaborate with engineering, production, planning and quality stakeholders.\nSupporting equipment integration from delivery through to testing and commissioning.\nEssential Skills:\nBachelor’s degree in electrical or Mechatronic Engineering, Diploma or other relevant qualifications will be considered.\nStrong fault-finding, troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills with evidence-based approach to problem solving.\nStrong stakeholder engagement and cross functional collaboration skills.\nExcellent communication (both written and verbal) and interpersonal skills.\nA genuine passion for delivering engineering solutions from installation through to commissioning.\nDefence security clearance or eligibility to obtain.\nEligibility to be cleared for International Traffic in Arms (ITAR) regulations.\nNote: Applicants who possess either a diploma in engineering or higher degree will be considered.
