You will play a key role in modelling complexbattlespace environments and defence systems, enabling engineering teams to validate capabilities within safe, realistic scenarios. This role offers the opportunity to improve simulation performance, enhance operational readiness, reduce development risk, and accelerate delivery of critical capabilities using modern software engineering and simulation technologies.\nCore duties:\nYou will design, develop, and maintain high-quality software solutions in line with project requirements\nYou will produce clear, well-structured, and maintainable software designs\nYou will deliver robust and reliable software solutions suitable for operational use\nYou will undertake testing activities to ensure software quality, performance, and compliance\nYou will maintain and enhance existing software, resolving defects and implementing new features\nEssential Skills:\nYou will hold a degree (BEng/BSc) in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related numerate discipline\nYou will have provenexperience in at least one high-level programming language; C++, C#, Java, or Ada are highly desirable\nYou will have adequate experience across the full software development lifecycle, with knowledge of methodologies such as Agile and Waterfall\nYou will have a solid understanding of configuration managementprinciples, with experience using configuration managementtools\nYou will have knowledge of networking concepts, including switches and routers\nThe MIMESIS Team:\nThe MIMESIS Product Team develops advanced maritime battlespace simulation software, modelling environmental conditions, platform behaviour, and complexsystems such as sonar, radar, and weapons.
