You’ll be trusted to play your part in delivering the advanced, technology-led defence, aerospace and security solutions of tomorrow - shaping a safer future, for all of us.\nJob Description:\nAs a Site Security Controller, you will act as the primary Security Controller, Cryptographic Custodian and STRAPSO for the BAE Systems, Head Office Stirling Square site.\nYou will have the opportunity to develop and enhance your skills, network and knowledge, with the potential for future opportunities of progressing and growth within the company.\nCore duties:\nApplying expertknowledge and skills to manageand maintain Stirling Square site accreditation\nManagingSecurity Incidents and Investigations for Head Office operations\nBuilding effective networks across the function and wider business to promote security awareness and collaboration\nInfluencing and engaging stakeholders to support the successful implementation of security controlsand risk mitigation activities\nConducting and maintaining assessments of security risks affecting Head Office operations, based on intelligence and threat analysis\nEssential Skills:\nUnderstanding of Company and Government security classifications and the handling measures associated\nUnderstanding of security risk managementpractices\nDesirable to have defence industry experience\nDesirable for the roleholder to hold a security qualification i.e. diploma or equivalent\nThe Head Office Security Team\nThis is a small and dynamic team responsible for delivering a broad range of security disciplines across both Group Business Development and Head Office UK Operations.\nBAE Systems Stirling Square is a UK facility, with our responsibility extending across the global Group Business Development office network, where the team has a wide-reaching and varied remit.\nWhile transactional security forms an important part of our role, helping to keep our people, places and business operations safe and secure every day, our workload is often dynamic and extends well beyond the business-as-usual activity.
