Role Description

We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Software Licensing Analyst to join our End User Computing (EUC) team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a pivotal role in managing software assets, licensing compliance, and the end-to-end software lifecycle across a complex enterprise environment.

Working closely with technical teams, vendors, and business stakeholders, you will help ensure software assets are effectively governed, optimized, and aligned with organisational requirements while supporting operational excellence and compliance.

Core Duties:

  • Manage enterprise software licensing and software asset management activities.
  • Maintain accurate software entitlement and deployment records.
  • Monitor software usage, compliance, renewals, and licensing obligations.
  • Support software lifecycle management, including procurement, deployment, upgrades, maintenance, and retirement.
  • Perform regular software audits and reconcile licensing positions.
  • Identify opportunities for software license optimization and cost savings.
  • Collaborate with vendors, procurement teams, and technology stakeholders to resolve licensing issues.
  • Develop and maintain software asset management processes, procedures, and documentation.
  • Support and continuously improve workflows and service processes within the EUC environment.

About YOU

  • Proactive, organised and capable of managing multiple priorities.
  • High attention to detail and analytical problem-solving capability.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to tailor messages to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Continuous improvement mindset with a focus on delivering quality outcomes.
  • Experience in software asset management, licensing governance, or a closely related discipline.
  • Experience in software lifecycle management in a complex environment.
  • Experience with managing software compliance and entitlements.
  • ServiceNow, JIRA, Flexnet Manager or equivalent software asset management platforms for workflows, service and support activities.
  • ITIL Foundation Certificate (or equivalent).
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance (Baseline) is required.
