Candidates with NV1 or NV2 willing to be upgraded to NV2 or TSPV are invited to apply.\nWhat You will do:\nEngage clients across the full solution lifecycle addressing their most important challenges from proposal to in-service realisation\nDefine and lead the development of solution architectures in collaboration with other design team members\nRetain overall ownership of solutions through delivery and transition into operation\nEnsure designs meet key functional and non-functional requirements\nOwn and manage technical and solution risks working to reduce and mitigate at earliest opportunity\nAssure and represent the work of our engineering teams to local and global engineering executive\nLead early design and estimation efforts to rapidly develop an understanding of potential solution costs and delivery timescales in support of business winning\nUnderstand and leverage BAE Systems experience, IP and expertise, with support of product and proposition experts, to conceive and deliver solutions to our clients and transfer mature FVEY capability to Australia\nWhat we are looking for:\nA broad range of technical skills, knowledge and leadership;\nExperience working within Defence and across security domains\nDeep knowledge and experience with cloud technology including complex application and data migration to Cloud platforms (Google, Azure and AWS)\nAdvising clients and teams throughout the delivery phase on complex solutions\nAbility to lead, influence and guide analysts, developers and engineers to achieve your vision\nExcellent written and oral presentation skills\nExperience contributing to tender responses and general pre-sales activities\nExperience working across a variety of delivery styles e.g. agile, lean, iterative/incremental, waterfall\nExperience working with Government systems and senior stakeholders\nExperience in Defence systems and engineering frameworks (e.g. AUSDAF, NATO Federated Mission Networking)\n10+ years hands-on in networking, engineering and/or software development and 5+ years architecture / design experience\nFamiliarity with architectural frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, Zachmann) and modelling.\nUnderstanding of Data Centric Security framework and standards (e.g. ACP 240, STANAG 4776/78)\nLearn more about our rewards and benefits in Australia\nRewards and benefits in Australia\n\nWhy BAE Systems?\nThis is a place where you’ll be able to make a real difference.
