You will be producing and maintaining a software design to meet a set of software requirements as well as using a software design to produce a deliverable software solution. The role will also involve testing a software solution to prove that is meets its design aims and requirements, supporting a software solution to address reported defects and/or add new functionality and maintaining a good working knowledge of Maritime Services software processes.\nCore duties\nDevelop software components and features against defined requirements and technical specifications.\nSupport software design activities, producing software solutions that are maintainable, reliable, and fit for purpose.\nParticipate in software verification and validation activities, including unit testing, integration testing, debugging, and defect resolution.\nContribute to software integration activities involving hardware, operating systems, middleware, and external interfaces.\nProduce and maintain software engineering artefacts, including requirements, design documentation, source code, test evidence, and technical reports.\nThe Defence Solutions Team\nBecome part of the only provider of complex powerful attack warships to the Royal Navy.
