This is a guest facing role which ensures smooth and efficient delivery of the experience for all guests who visit Baha Bay. This position ensures guest safety by managing staff, responding to emergencies, ensuring efficient operation of rides and attractions, giving clear directions and instructions, attending on-going training and maintaining essential swimming, lifeguarding, and basic life support skills. The Assistant Operations Manager will utilize a computer for daily tasks as well as, spend a good amount of time outside in the park providing direct supervision and guest assistance.\nResponsibilities will include, but are not limited to:\n· Manage a team of Supervisors and their respective front-line colleagues to include their on and off the job training, daily attendance, grooming, coaching, appraisals and personal development plans\n· Compile duty schedules for their area on a monthly basis ensuring that annual leave plans support operational readiness and ensure sufficient time off to colleagues\n· Plan, book and deliver on and off job training as required to ensure best possible service standards as well as colleague development\n· Openly communicate appropriate and useful information through various channels to include department meetings and briefings\n· Motivate colleagues through the effective implementation of incentive and recognition and rewards programs\n· Mentor and develop subordinates\n· Ensure departmental policies, procedures and performance standards are being implemented and maintained throughout their area\n· Review departmental policies, procedures and performance standards to ensure these are up to date, correct and propose changes as appropriate to ensure high levels of customer service\n· Ensure any service delivery deficiencies are resolved and identify any trends and share observations and suggestions with their managers and peers\n· Review satisfaction results for their areas and identify any trends and share observations and suggestions with their managers and peers\n· Review accuracy of any checklists and records completed in their area and analyze results\n· Ensure their area meets financial targets as set by their departmental manager through tracking expenditures and, if applicable, revenue;
