We offer professional development opportunities, mentorship from seasoned industry professionals, and the chance to contribute meaningfully to one of the nation’s leading municipal underwriting platforms.\nThe Impact You'll Make:\nSupport new issue execution by assisting Municipal Underwriters with competitive bid computations, pricing materials, and distribution of relevant offering documentation\nCoordinate communications between Baird’s Institutional Underwriting desk, Institutional Sales & Trading teams, and external municipal bond dealers\nProvide operational and administrative support for both negotiated and competitive transactions, including recordkeeping, trade ticketing, and settlement processes\nEnsure regulatory compliance by collaborating with Baird’s Compliance team and adhering to established firm policies and industry standards\nFacilitate communication between the Underwriting desk and Baird’s Public Finance Department throughout the new issue process, from pre-marketing to post-sale settlement\nPerform additional duties and projects assigned to support the success of the Municipal Underwriting team\nWhat You'll Bring to Baird:\nEducation: Bachelor’s degree required.
