The Guest Services Associate work under the instruction of Director of Guest Services assuming a variety of role functions including, welcoming guests, ushering guests to their seats, and scanning and checking tickets. This position requires someone who is cheerful, friendly outgoing, and willing to help out guests to ensure they have a great experience while attending their event.\nResponsibilities:\nCreates an exceptional experience for guests through a safe, clean, and friendly environment\nMaintains a calm and professional demeanor in a variety of different situations\nWorks accurately and practically to ensure that patrons are served in a timely manner\nProvides guests with event and general building information\nGreets customers and give direction throughout the facilities \nScans tickets as patrons enter the facilities during \nUshers patrons to their seats \nChecks badges for events ensuring the safety of each event\nMaintains a clean working environment as a part of the guest experience \nFollows all procedures for Guest Services operations including uniform and radio operation procedures\nAbility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays\nOther responsibilities and duties as assigned by management, to ensure the effective utilization of the company’s resources and to ensure customer satisfaction\nSkills & Qualifications:\nStrongproject management and organizational skills in which attention to detail and the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks/projects on time is essential\nExceptional communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with all stakeholders (internal and external); excellent situation adaptability\nExceptional interpersonal skills and ability to navigate organizations to build relationships and garner support; ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams\nAbility to work independently and efficiently; exercise initiative, resourcefulness and good judgement\nFlexible and comfortable working under pressure in a fast-paced environment \nAbility to work flexible and irregular hours that may vary due to functions and may include day, evening, weekends, and holidays as event calendar or deadlines dictate\nAbility to read, write, and speak English; perform basic mathematical functions (add, subtract, multiply and divide)\nFollow oral and written instructions and communicate effectively with others in both oral and written form\nEducation & Experience:\nRequired High School diploma or equivalent \n1-3 years of experience in a venue, hospitality, or high-volume customer service industry\n\nPreferredExperience in working with concerts, sporting events and teams is a plus\nBilingual a plus\n\nPositioned Based in: Milwaukee, WI\nTravel Required: N/A\nReports to: Guest Services Manager and Guest Services Supervisor\nDepartment: Guest Services\n**The above is intended to describe the general content of and requirements for the performance of the job.
