Interns are treated as valuable team members and have the ability to directly contribute to the success of the team while learning from experienced professionals.\nOur HR Talent Development team is responsible for supporting talent development programs, instructional design and development and other key talent management initiatives. They closely partner with teams across HR to successfully collaborate and execute on key HR programs and projects. When new HR client needs arise, the team will scope, design a process and manage key client work. The team is made up of agile experts partnering to drive great results for our internal partners and clients.\nThis is a hybrid internship, working Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday in our downtown Milwaukee, WI office and Monday and Friday remote. The intern must be able to work full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week, and work part time during the school semesters, 15-20 hours per week. We are seeking a local student who can start in June 2027.\nThe Impact You’ll Make:\nProvide coordination and support for firmwide programming including invitations, registration, material preparation, logistics, classroom scheduling, setup and evaluation\nCollect and consolidate learning content, curating for a library of resources in support of Workday, our learning management system\nResearch potential new program content to obtain relevant articles and videos in support of learning concepts\nExplore and evaluate training, coaching, development and other HR topics\nAssist in design work including infographic design, brochures, flyers and other communication materials in Word, PowerPoint and other graphic design software\nReview online course content, testing functionality and tracking edits in partnership with program designers\nAnalyze data through surveys and identify emerging trends\nCreate and deliver presentations at Talent Development team meetings\nWhat You’ll Bring to Baird:\nPursuing a degree in human resources, communications, marketing, instructional design or related degree\nAnticipated graduation date of May 2028 or later\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect clearly and professionally with associates and leaders\nOrganizational excellence, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure high-quality and on-time delivery\nHigh level of motivation, proactivity and strategic thinking, with a strong commitment to learning and contributing effectively\nAdvanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including strong PowerPoint and Excel skills\nDemonstrated interest and adaptability in learning new tools and technologies\nExperience with public speaking and presentations\nPrior experience in an office setting is preferred\nAbout Our Intern Program:\nJumpstart your career with Baird’s high-impact summer intern program!
