This intern works directly with the Communications team within Private Wealth Management (PWM) to support compelling and timely communication to PWM branch network associates.\nThis is a hybrid internship, working four days per week in our downtown Milwaukee, WI office and one day remote. The intern must be able to work full time during the summer, 37.5-40 hours per week, and work part time during the school semesters, 15-20 hours per week. We are seeking a local student who can start in June 2027.\nThe Impact You’ll Make:\nAssist with the publication of PWM-wide news\nDraft, edit and update items and news stories, such as support news and filming\nCoordinate and prepare for calls and meetings\nAssist with Baird’s overall communications efforts, and in collaboration with our PWM Communications team, help research, write and implement internal news stories, presentations and other communications\nGain exposure to and support strategic long-term communications planning\nMaintain the internal communications calendar\nCollaborate with teams across Private Wealth Management and the Marketing & Communications department\nWhat You’ll Bring to Baird:\nPursuing a bachelor’s degree in communications, journalism, public relations, marketing or related degree\nAnticipated graduation date of May 2028 or later\nStrong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect clearly and professionally with clients, associates and senior leaders\nSkilled in writing, editing, proofing and presentation design (i.e. PowerPoint)\nOrganizational excellence, with the capacity to manage multiple priorities, demonstrate strong attention to detail and ensure high-quality and on-time delivery\nHigh level of motivation, proactivity and strategic thinking, with a strong commitment to learning and contributing effectively\nCommitment to delivering excellent customer service to clients and associates\nExperience with email tracking software, Google Analytics, Microsoft Office products and SharePoint is a plus\nPrior experience in an office setting is preferred\nAbout Our Intern Program:\nJumpstart your career with Baird’s high-impact summer intern program!
