We aim to align your passions and skills with our vacancies, setting you on a path to exceptional career development and success.\n\nSenior Distributed Systems Engineer (Java) at BairesDev\n\nWe’re looking for a Senior Distributed Systems Engineer who is deeply comfortable with Java and has spent meaningful time on the hard parts of distributed infrastructure — concurrency, fault tolerance, data consistency, and what happens when things don’t go according to plan. You’ve worked on systems where data flows continuously and the scale is real. You’ll be contributing to a platform that thousands of organizations rely on to move and manage critical data, and where your distributed systems expertise will be put to genuine use.\n\nWhat You’ll Do:\n\nDesign and implement distributed system components in Java, with a focus on correctness, performance, and resilience.\n\nWork on data flow and stream processing infrastructure that handles high volumes of data across complex pipelines.\n\nApply deep knowledge of concurrent programming to build systems that scale reliably under real production load.\n\nDiagnose and resolve distributed system issues including race conditions, bottlenecks, and failure modes.\n\nCollaborate with platform and infrastructure teams to ensure system components integrate cleanly and perform well.\n\nContribute to technical discussions, code reviews, and the ongoing improvement of distributed system design.\n\nRequirements\n\n5+ years of experience in IT roles.\n\n3+ years of experience with Java as a primary language in distributed systems contexts.\n\nDeep understanding of distributed systems principles, trade-offs, and failure patterns.\n\nStrong concurrent programming skills, including multi-threading and asynchronous processing.\n\nHands-on experience with data flow or stream processing platforms.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in English.\n\nNice to have\n\nOpen source contribution experience is a
