We aim to align your passions and skills with our vacancies, setting you on a path to exceptional career development and success.\n\nSenior Platform Engineer (Java) at BairesDev\n\nWe’re looking for a Senior Platform Engineer who knows Java well and has worked on the infrastructure layer of systems that move data at scale. You understand distributed systems from the inside, you’re solid on concurrent programming, and you have experience with data flow or streaming platforms that other teams and products build on top of. You’ll be part of the engineering team behind a platform used by thousands of organizations globally to manage and route their most important data.\n\nBuild and maintain platform infrastructure components in Java that support large-scale distributed data flow.\n\nDesign and implement concurrent, high-throughput services that underpin data ingestion and stream processing workflows.\n\nEnsure platform components are reliable, observable, and performant under sustained production load.\n\nWork with engineering teams across the organization to define platform interfaces and integration patterns.\n\nIdentify systemic performance and reliability issues and lead efforts to resolve them.\n\nContribute to engineering standards, code reviews, and the continuous improvement of platform quality.\n\nRequirements\n\n5+ years of experience in IT roles\n\n3+ years of experience using Java as a primary language in platform or infrastructure engineering.\n\nStrong background in distributed systems architecture and operational challenges at scale.\n\nSolid concurrent programming skills and understanding of multi-threaded system design.\n\nExperience building or working with data flow, streaming, or pipeline-oriented platform products.\n\nAdvanced proficiency in English\n\nNice to have\n\nOpen source contribution experience is a plus.\n\nCompany offers\n\nRemote Work.\n\nHardware
