This includes selecting appropriate components, layout design, grounding, shielding, and filtering techniques.\nWork with the design engineers and PCB designers to deploy the best design practices in PCB design and eliminate design iterations due to EMI/EMC failures.\nUse various analytical methods (LTSpice, SIMetrix, PSpice, Ansys, CST etc.) to estimate the EMI signature beforehand and propose corrective measures proactively.\nAnalyze test results and identify areas for improvement or optimization.\nShall provide technical guidance on part level and vehicle level EMI/EMC certification tests.\nKeep track of global trends in relevant technology, regulations and develop long-term road maps and appropriate work plan.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that EMC requirements are effectively addressed throughout the product development lifecycle\n\n5\n\nCompetency Requirements\n\nSpecific expertise required for functional area:\nStrong understanding of electromagnetic theory, EMC principles, and regulatory standards applicable to automotive electronics (e.g., CISPR 25, ISO7637, ISO16750, CISPR 25, ECE R10.5, AIS004, ISO 11452 etc).\nShall have in-depth understanding of conducted emissions, conducted immunity/susceptibility, radiated emission, radiated immunity, ESD, EFT, surge etc.\nShall have experience with EMC testing equipment and techniques, including spectrum analysers, oscilloscopes, conducted and radiated emissions chambers, and transient generators.\nShall have strong fundamental knowledge in the electronic component designs\nExposure to electronics manufacturing and validation facilities, hands on testing/ test set-up experience\nHands on experience in working on common lab equipment’s (Oscilloscopes, Digital Multi-meter’s, Network analysers, Spectrum analysers, etc.)\nMust be familiar with design for six sigma (DFSS) processes\nExcellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.\nAbility to manage multiple priorities and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.\n\n6\n\nLikely Sources\n\nBosch, Hella, Cummins, Eaton, UTC Aerospace, Honeywell Aerospace, Tata Technologies, Continental etc.","description_format":"text","description_chars":3006,"description_truncated":false,"requirements":{"experience_years_min":null,"management_years_min":null,"team_size_min":null,"manages_managers":false,"education":null,"security_clearance":false,"languages":[]},"benefits":[],"hiring_locations":[],"hiring_excludes":[],"relocation_offered":false,"industries":["Financial Services","Health Care","Transportation & Logistics","Automotive Manufacturing"],"lifecycle":[{"event":"open","at":"2026-09-28T15:40:51Z"}],"liveness":{"score":77,"band":"hot","label":"Hiring now","p_open":0.9,"p_active":0.853,"p_room":1,"age_days":4,"expected_fill_days":21,"reasons":["conf:54","velocity","win:early"],"computed_at":"2026-10-01T05:45:00Z"},"pay":null,"html_url":"https://alion.io/job/bajaj-auto-emc-test-engineer","json_url":"https://alion.io/job/bajaj-auto-emc-test-engineer.json","meta":{"generated_at":"2026-10-01T22:01:41Z","cache_seconds":300,"methodology":"https://alion.io/methodology","terms":"https://alion.io/terms","contact":"https://alion.io/contact","api":"https://alion.io/developers","usage":{"tier":"crawler","counted_by":"address","units_charged":1,"used_today":4678,"day_limit":5000,"remaining_today":322,"minute_limit":60,"resets_at":"2026-10-02T00:00:00Z"}}}
