Here are your primary responsibilities:\nCoordinates, schedules, and completes all assigned work orders and PM inspections, in cooperation with operations, electrical, instrumentation, and contractor personnel on all maintenance activities.\nAbility to identify existing or imminent mechanical failure mechanisms through knowledge of plant equipment and processes.\nAbility to analyze current equipment and process operating conditions and make adjustments to allow for maximizing plant efficiency and hardware life.\nAbility to understand and perform maintenance requirements to successfully complete preventative maintenance or repairs to plant process equipment.\nInputs information into SAP maintenance system to record accomplishments and document repair.\nParticipates and acts as a system matter expert for all aspects of plant maintenance and equipment during root cause analysis (RCA), and process safety management (PSM) requirements.\nSupports environmental and safety program initiatives and improvements.\nContributes appropriate subject matter expertise to the Maintenance and Engineering departments to support maintenance, engineering, and capital project initiatives.\nBuild maintenance and equipment technical data for updating and maintaining equipment files.\nDevelop and maintain inventory of essential maintenance materials and critical equipment spare parts.\nInteract with vendors in getting parts identified properly for ordering and delivery.\nGain an intimate understanding of plant processes and process variables.\nWorks closely with the Maintenance Supervisor for troubleshooting, maintenance, and engineering activities.\nModels excellence in EHS, Housekeeping, Leadership, and ensures EHS compliance at all times.\nModels team behavior; works well with others.\nExcellent organizational and planning skills; learns quickly and is detail-oriented.\n\nWhat is Needed to be Successful in this Role (Required Skills/Abilities):\nHigh School Diploma or GED.\nMinimum of one (3) year of experience working with, understanding, maintaining, and repairing mechanical components e.g.: rotating equipment inspection and assessment, coupling/pulley alignment, belt tensioning and alignment. \nMinimum of one (3) year of mechanical troubleshooting (valves, motors, pumps, etc.) experience.\nMinimum of one (3) year of experience in a manufacturing or military environment.\nTechnical understanding and problem-solving skills. \nWork required rotational weekend on-call duties.\nWork in high places and confined spaces. Lift 50 lbs. throughout an eight (8) hour shift. \nDemonstrated ability to read standard blueprints, machine, and process drawings (P&ID, PFD, and Isometrics).\nWelding ability (GTAW, GMAW, SMAW) is desired.\nMust have or meet requirements for a TWIC card.\n\nAre you ready to help us build a better tomorrow and put your fingerprints on the world?
