Here are your primary responsibilities:\nDevelop safe, predictable, and reliable processes.\nApply and define standard engineering design practices.\nParticipate in or lead process risk/hazard reviews.\nParticipate in or lead incident review and root cause analysis.\nParticipate in management of change.\nAssist in definition and execution of the capital plan.\nDefine conceptual, preliminary, and detailed design packages, including process control functional descriptions.\nManage internal and external engineering services used to prepare preliminary or detailed project packages for funding submission or construction.\nPrepare cost estimates for new or modified site assets.\nFacilitate and lead project stage gate reviews.\nObtain financial approval for assigned projects\nFacilitate reliability reviews when needed.\nSelect preferred equipment or contract services through bid analysis\nProvide peer review and recommended practices.\nComplete regular status reporting and work prioritization.\n\nWhat is Needed to be Successful in this Role (Required Skills/Abilities):\nBS, Chemical Engineering and 5 years’ experience in Chemical Process Industries as process or project engineer, or equivalent experience.\nStrong working knowledge and application of recognized and generally accepted good engineering practices for chemical process plant design and operation involving flammable liquids and gases, combustible dust, toxic or reactive materials, pressure relief systems, and instrumented functional safety.\nWorking knowledge of ERP systems, preferably SAP.\nKnowledge of current Microsoft tools, including database structures and SharePoint.\nExcellent verbal and written communication skills.\nWillingness to travel 35-40%.\nPreferred: \nStrong working knowledge and use of Aveva PI.\nKnowledge of process simulation software.\n\nAre you ready to help us build a better tomorrow and put your fingerprints on the world?
