WFS is well-versed in federal contract compliance and providing outstanding support services\nPosition Summary\nWe are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented Janitorial Services Technician to support a secure federal facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role is responsible for maintaining clean, safe, and sanitary work environments through routine cleaning, facility upkeep, and adherence to established quality and safety standards.\nThe ideal candidate takes pride in delivering exceptional service, works well independently or as part of a team, and is committed to maintaining a professional appearance of facility spaces.\nKey Responsibilities\nPerform routine cleaning and sanitation of offices, restrooms, break rooms, common areas, and other facility spaces.\nSweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and polish surfaces to maintain cleanliness standards.\nEmpty trash and recycling receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal practices.\nRestock restroom and cleaning supplies as needed.\nMaintain floors through appropriate cleaning and care procedures.\nClean windows, doors, fixtures, and other surfaces as assigned.\nOperate and maintain janitorial equipment and cleaning tools safely and effectively.\nReport maintenance concerns, safety hazards, or facility issues to management.\nFollow all safety, security, and facility procedures while working in secure environments.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent.\nActive DoD Secret Clearance\nMust be a US Citizen\nMinimum of 1 year of experience providing janitorial, custodial, or facility cleaning services.\nAbility to lift, carry, and move cleaning equipment and supplies as required.\nStrong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high cleanliness standards.\nAbility to work independently and effectively as part of a team.\nExcellent reliability, punctuality, and work ethic.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting government, commercial, industrial, or secure facilities.\nKnowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safe handling procedures.\nExperience working in environments requiring adherence to security protocols.\nDisclaimer:\nThis job description indicates in general the nature and levels of work, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other essential functions (as covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act) expected of an incumbent.
