WFS is well-versed in federal contract compliance and providing outstanding support services\nPosition Summary\nWe are seeking an experienced and highly motivated Site Supervisor to lead daily operations and maintenance (O&M) activities at a large federal facility in Fort Lauderdale, Florida. This role is responsible for overseeing site personnel, coordinating resources, ensuring operational excellence, and serving as the primary on-site leader to support facility and environmental service requirements.\nThe successful candidate will have a strong background in facilities management, operations and maintenance, or environmental services, along with proven experience leading teams in a complex operational environment.\nKey Responsibilities\nProvide day-to-day leadership and oversight of site operations and maintenance activities.\nDirect and coordinate contractor personnel, resources, tools, materials, and equipment to ensure contract requirements are met.\nServe as the primary on-site point of contact for operational issues, scheduling, and performance management.\nMonitor work quality, safety compliance, and operational efficiency.\nCoordinate with stakeholders to ensure timely completion of maintenance, environmental, and facility-related services.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high standards of customer service and mission readiness.\nRequired Qualifications\nMust be a US Citizen\nActive Secret Security Clearance.\nAssociate degree in Facilities Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent technical training, military experience, certifications, or relevant education may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nMinimum 5 years of experience in operations and maintenance (O&M), facilities management, environmental services, or a related field.\nMinimum 5 years of experience supporting large facilities, campuses, industrial sites, or complex operations.\nDemonstrated leadership and supervisory experience managing teams and resources.\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate degree in Facilities Management, Environmental Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field; equivalent technical training, military experience, certifications, or relevant education may be considered in lieu of a degree.\nExperience in environmental programs, environmental compliance, or environmental field operations.\nProfessional certifications related to facilities management, operations, environmental services, or project management.\nExperience supporting federal government or Department of Defense (DoD) facilities.\nDisclaimer\nThis job description indicates in general the nature and levels of work, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other essential functions (as covered under the Americans with Disabilities Act) expected of an incumbent.
