You will work closely with operations, vendors, and internal departments to ensure production requirements are met while minimizing delays and maintaining accurate equipment and work order records.\nYou will play an important role in coordinating vendor activities, managing SAP transactions, expediting production requirements, and supporting the efficient flow of work through the operation.\nFueling Your Passion\nAs a Master Scheduler - ALS Leduc, you will use your scheduling, organizational, communication, and SAP experience to coordinate operational priorities and support timely execution of repair and maintenance activities.\nYou will collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to manage schedules, resolve day-to-day processing requirements, maintain accurate records, and help maximize operational throughput and quality.\nYou will be responsible for:\nCreating and processing SAP purchase requisitions for services required for the repair and maintenance of equipment from established vendors.\nPlanning and coordinating the sequence of operations to support production requirements and the timely completion of finished goods.\nReviewing, revising, and rescheduling orders based on changing production requirements and operational priorities.\nCoordinating outside processing activities to support maximum operational throughput and quality.\nExpediting vendor production and daily operational requirements to support production goals and delivery commitments.\nMonitoring vendor schedules and following up on outstanding requirements to minimize potential production delays.\nCoordinating schedules with other departments to ensure required lead times are considered and costly delays are avoided.\nActing as a liaison between internal departments and external vendors to resolve day-to-day outside processing and scheduling requirements.\nProviding vendors with applicable drawings and work instructions for equipment repair and maintenance activities.\nApplying a general understanding of technical drawings to support vendor and operational requirements.\nMaintaining accurate and permanent equipment records.\nUpdating, maintaining, and filing SAP work orders to support accurate operational records.\nMaintaining records of scrapped tools and related documentation.\nSupporting SAP activities associated with the remanufacturing process.\nAssisting with additional operational functions based on business requirements.\nSupporting and, when required, providing guidance to others within the department.\nHandling special projects and additional assignments as required.\nTo be successful in this role, you will:\nHave a High School Diploma or equivalent.\nHave a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in scheduling, production planning, operations, supply chain, manufacturing, or a related environment.\nHave experience using SAP, specifically supporting remanufacturing processes.\nHave good computer skills and the ability to work effectively with business and operational systems.\nHave good written and verbal communication skills.\nHave a general understanding of transportation and distribution procedures, methods, and practices.\nHave the ability to read and develop a general understanding of technical drawings and work instructions.\nHave strong organizational skills with the ability to coordinate multiple priorities and changing production requirements.\nHave the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively with internal departments, operations teams, and external vendors.\nHave the ability to monitor schedules, identify potential delays, and take appropriate action to support delivery commitments.\nBe able to maintain accurate operational, equipment, and production records.\nDesired Characteristics\nExperience working in a repair, maintenance, remanufacturing, manufacturing, or oilfield services environment.\nExperience coordinating vendor activities, outside processing, or production schedules.\nStrong attention to detail with a focus on maintaining accurate SAP and operational records.\nAbility to prioritize work effectively in a dynamic operational environment.\nStrong problem-solving skills with the ability to resolve day-to-day scheduling and production challenges.\nAbility to work independently while collaborating effectively across departments.\nExperience supporting multiple operational priorities while maintaining focus on quality and delivery requirements.\nAbility to take initiative and contribute to continuous improvement within scheduling and operational processes.\nWork in a Way That Works for You\nThis position supports operations at ALS Leduc and requires regular collaboration with internal departments and external vendors.
