You will be responsible for asset readiness, maintenance execution, project delivery, workforce leadership, and operational performance across offshore and shore-based activities.\nWorking closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, HSE, Finance, and Product Line leadership, you will help ensure critical equipment and assets are maintained safely, reliably, and efficiently while supporting business objectives and customer commitments.\nTravel Requirement: This role requires frequent travel, including regular visits to operational locations, vessels, maintenance facilities, shipyards, and customer sites supporting North America Offshore operations.\nAs an AMO Project Manager, you will be responsible for:\nLeading and developing AMO personnel supporting North America Offshore operations.\nDriving a culture of safety, accountability, teamwork, and operational excellence.\nManaging maintenance projects, equipment upgrades, refurbishment programs, and readiness initiatives.\nDeveloping project plans, schedules, budgets, resource plans, and risk mitigation strategies.\nEnsuring equipment reliability, fleet availability, and operational readiness.\nCoordinating maintenance activities across Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and field teams.\nLeading root-cause investigations and implementing corrective actions that improve reliability and performance.\nManaging maintenance budgets, project expenditures, and contractor performance.\nBuilding business cases that support equipment modernization, life-extension programs, and asset investments.\nMonitoring project progress and ensuring deliverables are completed safely, on time, and within budget.\nCommunicating readiness status, project performance, and operational risks to key stakeholders.\nDriving continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability, productivity, cost optimization, and maintenance effectiveness.\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role, you will:\nHave a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college, or a high school diploma/GED with significant relevant industry experience.\nHave at least 8 years of experience in maintenance, asset management, operations, reliability, project management, or a related industrial environment.\nHave at least 5 years of leadership experience managing maintenance teams, technical personnel, projects, or operational organizations.\nDemonstrate experience leading maintenance programs, asset readiness initiatives, equipment overhauls, or equipment-intensive operations.\nPossess strong project management, planning, scheduling, budgeting, and risk management capabilities.\nDemonstrate financial acumen and experience managing budgets, forecasts, and operational performance metrics.\nHave strong communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.\nBe willing and able to travel regularly to operational sites, vessels, maintenance facilities, shipyards, and customer locations.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience supporting offshore pressure pumping operations, marine assets, vessel maintenance, rotating equipment, or hydraulic systems.\nProject Management Professional (PMP) certification or formal project management training.\nLean, Six Sigma, Reliability, Asset Management, or Maintenance Excellence certification.\nExperience with SAP, Oracle, CMMS, Power BI, Microsoft 365, or project management systems.\nKnowledge of offshore, marine, oilfield, quality, and regulatory requirements.\nWorking with us\nOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
