This role provides daily direction to technicians, working leads, coordinators, and support teams while maintaining accountability for shop performance, employee engagement, compliance, and continuous improvement.\nCore Responsibilities\nHSE Leadership\nLeading daily toolbox talks and reinforce personal protective equipment requirements.\n\nIdentifying hazards and actively promote Stop Work Authority.\n\nCompleting observations and ensure HRAs, QRAs, permits, and required risk controls are reviewed, understood, and followed.\n\nQuality Ownership\nEnsuring technicians follow approved methods, work instructions, inspection requirements, and documentation standards.\n\nSupporting containment, root-cause analysis, corrective actions, and prevention of repeat quality escapes.\n\nMaintaining ownership and accountability for quality performance within the assigned area.\n\nDaily Execution and Delivery\nAssigning work, manage priorities, remove roadblocks, and communicate schedule changes.\n\nTracking progress against daily and weekly commitments and escalate constraints early.\n\nCoordinating with Planning, Order Control, Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, and Warehouse teams.\n\nCost and Labor Discipline\nMonitoring labor utilization, overtime, headcount alignment, productivity, and resource needs.\n\nSupporting efficient staffing, rework reduction, and disciplined use of consumables and tooling.\n\nIdentifying and advance cost and productivity improvement opportunities.\n\nPeople Leadership and Development\nCoaching employees, set clear expectations, recognize contributions, and address performance or behavior concerns promptly and consistently.\n\nSupporting cross-training, timekeeping discipline, CMP progression, certifications, and required training.\n\nBuilding a respectful, accountable, inclusive, and engaged team culture.\n\n6S, Equipment, and Maintenance\nOwning area cleanliness, organization, tooling control, visual management, and 6S routines.\n\nIdentifying equipment issues, report downtime, and coordinate preventive maintenance, repairs, and tooling needs.\n\nSupporting sustainment actions and workplace organization improvements.\n\nCommunication and Escalation\nProviding clear, timely updates to the AMO Manager, peer supervisors, and cross-functional partners.\n\nEscalating safety, quality, delivery, staffing, cost, and customer-impacting risks early.\n\nMaintaining effective shift handoffs and disciplined action tracking\n\nRequired qualification\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave a high school diploma or equivalent and relevant experience in AMO, maintenance, production, manufacturing, or supply chain operations.\n\nHave demonstrated frontline leadership, coaching, communication, and problem-solving skills.\n\nHave the ability to organize work, manage competing priorities, analyze operational metrics, and communicate constraints effectively.\n\nHave at least 2 years of leadership experience.\n\nHave working knowledge of HSE requirements, quality systems, standardized processes, and continuous improvement methodologies.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave an associate or bachelor's degree in Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or a related field.\n\nHave previous supervisory experience in an AMO, manufacturing, repair, maintenance, or service environment.\n\nHave experience with root-cause analysis, corrective actions, Lean methodologies, 6S practices, KPI management, and labor planning.\n\nHave experience coordinating maintenance activities, tooling, materials, vendors, and cross-functional support teams.\n\nHave strong interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.\n\nHave the ability to influence teams, drive accountability, and promote a culture of operational excellence.\n\nHave strong organizational and time-management skills with the ability to perform effectively in a dynamic operational environment.\n\nWork Schedule: 2nd shift (4:00 PM - 1:00 AM CST) + On call & OT\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
