Our team is responsible for the assembly of high-quality and innovative products.\nCollaborate with the best\nAs an Assembler - Mechanical, you will work on Baker Hughes' internal test benches, primarily carrying out the disassembly, assembly, inspection, and testing of components for centrifugal compressors, steam turbines, and turboexpanders. You will also provide assistance during testing activities and support rotor change-outs when required, ensuring operational continuity throughout the testing process.\nYou will follow technical specifications, product drawings, and assembly procedures, ensuring accurate execution in compliance with company safety and quality standards.\nAs As an Assembler - Mechanical, you will be responsible for:\nComplete disassembly/assembly plans, item documentation and material identification, during disassembly, assembly, and inspection activities.\nPerform preliminary checks on component conditions in accordance with applicable specifications.\nBe responsible for the workstation and ensure compliance with production line rules during disassembly, assembly, and inspection activities.\nSuggest improvement actions related to assigned tasks, in line with the company’s continuous improvement program.\nParticipate in weekly team discussions focused on safety and quality topics (Safety & Quality Talks).\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHold a technical high school diploma with a specialization in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.\nHave experience in mechanical assembly and fitting activities.\nPossess knowledge of mechanical assembly processes.\nBe available to work shifts, including weekends when required.\nDemonstrate the ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.\nHave experience using precision measurement instruments.\nPossess basic computer skills (Excel, Word, email, etc.).\nDemonstrate teamwork, flexibility, and adaptability.\nHave knowledge of Oil & Gas products and equipment.\nHold a valid EU work permit.\nBe available for occasional business travel.\nDemonstrate good attention to detail.\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognise that everyone is different and the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best varies.
