You will work closely with internal stakeholders to ensure compliance with company policies and financial procedures while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail in a deadline-driven environment.\n\nAs an Billing & Collections Analyst I, you will be responsible for:\nSupporting day-to-day accounting and financial operations in accordance with established procedures and policies.\nProcessing financial transactions accurately and efficiently while maintaining data integrity.\nReviewing and verifying accounting records, invoices, and supporting documentation for completeness and accuracy.\nAssisting with account reconciliations and resolving discrepancies in a timely manner.\nSupporting invoice processing and electronic data interchange (EDI) transactions as required.\nMaintaining accurate financial records and documentation in compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements.\nUtilizing accounting and financial systems, including SAP, to support operational and reporting activities.\nPreparing and analyzing financial data using Microsoft Excel and other reporting tools.\nAssisting with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end accounting activities as required.\nCollaborating with internal departments to resolve accounting issues and improve process efficiency.\nPrioritizing multiple assignments and meeting established deadlines in a fast-paced environment.\nSupporting continuous improvement initiatives within accounting and finance processes.\nCommunicating effectively with internal stakeholders regarding financial transactions, reporting requirements, and process updates.\nWorking independently and collaboratively within a team environment to achieve department objectives.\n\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave a High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent qualification.\nHave 5+ years of experience in accounting, finance, accounts payable, accounts receivable, or a related field preferred.\nPossess a basic understanding of accounting principles and financial processes.\nDemonstrate strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy.\nHave strong analytical and problem-solving skills.\nBe able to effectively organize work, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously.\nHave excellent verbal and written communication skills.\nBe proficient in Microsoft Excel.\nBe comfortable working both independently and as part of a collaborative team.\nDemonstrate the ability to perform effectively in a deadline-driven environment.\n\nPreferred Qualifications\nAssociate's Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.\nExperience with SAP or other ERP systems.\nKnowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint.\nExperience with EDI invoice processing.\nPrevious experience supporting accounting, financial reporting, or transactional finance functions.\nExperience working in a manufacturing, industrial, or corporate environment.\n\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.\nThis role is in general hours (8AM - 5PM) Mon - Fri, plus OT and weekends at month end.\n\nWorking for you\nOur inventions have revolutionized energy for over a century.
