Working closely with business leaders, Corporate Development, Finance, and external advisors, you will deliver critical analysis that informs acquisitions, divestitures, and other strategic capital allocation initiatives.\nPartner with the best\nAs a Business Development Advisor - M&A Finance, you will be part of Baker Hughes' Corporate Development organization and report directly to the Senior Director of M&A Finance. The team is responsible for developing company and market-level financial forecasts, valuation analyses, and transaction models that support the assessment of strategic growth opportunities.\nThis is a high-impact role that provides significant exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making across Baker Hughes. You will partner with Corporate Development, Corporate Finance, and business segment leaders to evaluate opportunities spanning Oil & Gas, LNG, compression, power generation, geothermal, hydrogen, and other emerging energy technologies.\nResponsibilities, authorities and accountabilities\nDeveloping and maintaining sophisticated financial models, including three-statement models, discounted cash flow (DCF) analyses, accretion/dilution models, and valuation frameworks.\nSupporting the evaluation and execution of acquisitions, divestitures, joint ventures, and strategic investment opportunities.\nBuilding company-level and market-level financial forecasts using historical performance, industry trends, and macroeconomic assumptions.\nConducting valuation analyses and assessing strategic alternatives to support investment recommendations.\nCollaborating with business leaders, finance teams, and external advisors throughout transaction processes.\nPerforming financial, operational, and strategic analyses to identify key business drivers, risks, and opportunities.\nPreparing executive-level presentations, investment committee materials, and transaction recommendations.\nInterviewing and partnering with senior stakeholders to gather information, validate assumptions, and develop forecasting inputs.\nMonitoring industry trends, competitive landscapes, and market developments relevant to Baker Hughes' strategic priorities.\nManaging multiple transaction and analysis workstreams while delivering high-quality outputs within established timelines.\nSupporting capital solutions initiatives and broader Corporate Development projects as required.\nYou will be eligible to participate in Company-sponsored benefit programs, including health & welfare programs and the Thrift Plan (401k).
