You will be collaborating with engineers, designers, and project managers to translate concepts into detailed 2D and 3D models, ensuring compliance with standards and maintaining high-quality drafting practices. Your work will play a key role in enabling efficient project delivery and supporting continuous improvement across design workflows.\nAs a CAD Technician, you will be responsible for:\nProducing 2D and 3D technical drawings using CAD software such as SolidWorks and AutoCAD\nDeveloping detailed layouts, views, and sections based on sketches, specifications, and engineering calculations\nCreating and organizing installation instruction illustrations\nRevising and updating drawings to reflect design changes and evolving project requirements\nEnsuring all drawings comply with industry standards, codes, and internal drafting practices\nMaintaining and updating drawing files, supporting documentation, and revision control within the document management system\nCoordinating with engineers, designers, and project teams to resolve design or technical issues\nPerforming additional drafting or documentation tasks based on workload and business needs\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave a diploma, certificate, or associate degree in CAD, drafting, engineering technology, or a related field\nHave proficiency in CAD software, with SolidWorks required and AutoCAD considered a plus\nHave a strong understanding of drafting standards, symbols, and technical conventions\nHave the ability to interpret technical drawings, specifications, and engineering concepts\nHave high attention to detail and accuracy in all drafting work\nHave good communication and teamwork skills\nPreferred:\nHave 1-5 years of experience in a CAD or drafting role\nHave industry-specific experience in mechanical or manufacturing environments\nHave knowledge of document control processes\nHave experience with 3D modeling and visualization\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
