Our team plays an integral role by helping the business plan for the future.\nFuel your passion\nAs a Commodity Lead, you will lead sourcing activities within a defined categories and projects, driving supplier performance and cost optimization. You will support strategic initiatives and ensure alignment with category plans and business objectives.\nAs a Commodity Lead, you will be responsible for:\nCategory Management: Owning and managing assigned spend categories, developing and executing sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.\nSupplier Selection & Contracting: Leading supplier selection processes, negotiate commercial terms, and manage contract creation, execution, and compliance.\nRequisition Management: Converting internal purchase requisitions into accurate and timely purchase orders in accordance with company policies.\nOrder Tracking: Monitoring open orders and proactively, follow up with suppliers to confirm delivery dates and resolve any delays or issues.\nStakeholder Engagement: Collaborating with internal stakeholders to understand business needs, align procurement strategies, and ensure category plans support operational goals.\nSupplier Relationship Management: Building and maintaining strong relationships with key suppliers, ensuring performance, innovation, and value delivery.\nPerformance Monitoring: Conducting quarterly business reviews with strategic suppliers to assess performance, address issues, and identify opportunities for improvement.\nMarket Intelligence: Monitoring market trends, risks, and opportunities to inform sourcing decisions and ensure competitiveness.\nCost Management: Driving cost savings and value creation initiatives through effective negotiation and supplier collaboration.\nCompliance & Risk Management: Ensuring procurement activities comply with internal policies and external regulations, managing risks within the supply base.\nDocumentation: Maintaining accurate records of supplier communications, quotations, and order confirmations.\nTo be successful in this role you will:\n· Have Bachelor’s degree in Business.\n· Hold MCIPS accreditation or working towards or US equivalent\n· Have 3-5 years of experience in sourcing or category management.\n· Have strong analytical, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills.\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
