You will take responsibility for the contractual and financial delivery of the project in accordance with the execution plan.\nReporting operationally to the Regional Contracts Director, the role provides the key interface between the internal business units, functions, Product Line Centre’s of Excellence and client, helping shape overall execution strategy and ensure profitability.\nAs the Contracts & Commercial Manager - Projects you will be responsible for: \n\nAll Commercial & Contractual aspects of large-scale, complex projects and act as the primary authority for Contractual matters;\nManagement of all contractual related aspects, including commercial arrangements, variations, amendments, adherence and reporting;\nEstablish and maintain compliance with the specific Contract requirements;\nProvide leadership, advice, and guidance to senior management on specific contractual matters;\nEnsure commercial risks are identified and managed across the scopes of work by controlling the overall project profile and opportunity review;\nOversee contractual engagement for key subcontracts and major purchases to ensure risks are mitigated and opportunities managed; and\nDrive the commercial performance of awarded projects.\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, or, other relevant legal, commercial, energy related degree.\nSubstantial contract management experience in an energy, resources or capital construction environments.\nProven track record in contributing to the improvement of project profitability, cash flow and control of commercial risk.\nPossess full understanding and working knowledge of the key legal risk areas and obligations for major projects.\nCommercially, financially and contractually aware with good communication, inter-personal and skills.\nProven capability of working in a matrix environment and of leading by influence.\nWilling to work at a detailed level.\nWorking with us\nOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
