Our team plays an essential role in ensuring the safe delivery and of shipment of our products to our customers.\n\nPartner with the best\nAs a Chemical Transport Field Operator, you will be responsible for transporting hazardous production chemicals throughout Southwestern Manitoba while ensuring the highest standards of safety, compliance, and professionalism.\n\nKey Responsibilities\nSafely operating and maintaining assigned truck in compliance with Baker Hughes, customer, and government regulations\nLoading and unloading hazardous chemicals following all safety protocols\nDriving courteously and obeying all traffic laws and oil company regulations\nRecording delivery information accurately and complete required paperwork\nOperating forklifts and other equipment as needed\nCommunicating effectively with managers, plant staff, and office personnel for scheduling and route planning\nAssisting with warehouse and yard duties as required\n\nQualifications & Requirements\nHigh School Diploma or equivalent\nValid Class 5 driver’s license with 5+ years of driving experience\nClean driving record\nPrevious chemical delivery experience preferred\nCompletion of pre and post trip inspections\nKnowledge of Transport Canada dangerous goods regulations and load securement requirements\nBasic operating skills in Computer, Laptop & smart phones.\nStrong personal integrity, responsibility, and organizational skills\nAbility to lift up to 50 lbs daily\nGood communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment\nWillingness to be on call as needed\nMaintain a clean truck and work area\n\nDesired Characteristics\nOff-road driving experience\nPrevious oil and gas industry experience preferred\nFamiliarity with chemical safety, pumps, valves, and liquid handling equipment preferred\nMust be authorized to work in Canada without sponsorship\n\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
