You will be responsible for developing complex electronic circuits designed for use in downhole drilling tools under extreme environmental conditions. In this role, you will strengthen one of our teams by developing advanced electronics for high-temperature downhole applications. Your responsibilities will span the entire life cycle of electronic design, including requirement specification, architecture design, simulation, implementation, verification & validation, and documentation.\nAsElectrical Design Engineer - Power Electronics you will be responsible for:\nCircuit design of mixed analog and digital electronics.\n\nSPICE-Simulation of electronic circuits under consideration of high environmental temperature.\n\nSupport of the PCB layout.\n\nTest and characterization of electronic circuits under high temperature.\n\nDevelopment of test systems including hardware and software.\n\nQualification of electronic components for high temperature applications.\n\nComplete documentation for new product developments and presentation of development results in design reviews to complete milestones in the technology development process.\n\nTo be successful in this role you will:\n3+ years of experience in circuit design, preferably with Siemens Xpedition and/or Altium Designer\n\nAbove-average university degree (FH, University, TU) in Electrical Engineering.\n\nPractical experience in circuit- and system design of analog and digital circuits, gathered during internships, thesis and/or professional experience.\n\nKnowledge of the technology of electronic components and sensors.\n\nKnowledge in the area of measurement and control engineering.\n\nExperienced in handling modern electronic laboratory equipment.\n\nSelf-contained, self-motivated and structured to work within a worldwide functioning interdisciplinary team.\n\nGood written and verbal English skills, due to working in an international diverse working environment and strong interest in working with other cultures.\n\nPractical experience in FPGA design using HDL (VHDL or Verilog) (preferred)\n\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
