The qualified candidate will execute assigned developments ranging from conceptual design through validation testing and commercial release. Support for released designs will also be in scope, including troubleshooting, diagnostics, customer support, and maintenance activities.\nAs anElectrical Design Engineer, you will be responsible for:\nExecuting electrical developments of medium complexity under the guidance of technical leaders.\nCapturing design requirements, developing electrical designs, performing verification and validation activities, and supporting commercial release.\nContributing hands-on technical expertise in electrical design, testing, and troubleshooting.\nCollaborating with cross-functional and global engineering teams to deliver project objectives.\nSupporting and mentoring junior engineers while continuing to develop technical leadership skills.\nDocumenting designs, test results, and engineering best practices.\n\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave a bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related discipline from an accredited university.\nHave approximately 5-10 years of experience in electrical product development.\nHave fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.\nHave experience delivering engineering projects and supporting new product development activities.\nDemonstrate strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary teams.\nBuild productive relationships with stakeholders, customers, and peers.\nDesired Skills\nA successful candidate will have good coverage of the following skills:\nExperience using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, power supplies, multimeters, and other laboratory equipment for circuit debugging and validation.\nMedium-power (>100W) DC-DC power conversion and motor control.\nData acquisition systems and ADC interfaces.\nExperience with microcontrollers such as TI C2000, MSP430, or similar platforms.\nExposure to embedded firmware development.\nSchematic capture and component selection using Altium Designer or equivalent ECAD tools.\nFamiliarity with PCBA procurement, fabrication, and assembly processes.\nHands-on soldering and rework of PCB assemblies.\nWiring harness design and integration.\nPreparation and maintenance of engineering documentation, test procedures, and design records. \n\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
