The qualified candidate will lead assigned developments ranging from conceptual design to validation testing and commercial release. Support for released designs will also be in scope which include customer training, troubleshooting/diagnostics and maintenance. The position will also include opportunities for leadership responsibilities in a team of early and mid-career engineers.\nAs an Electrical Engineer, you will be responsible for:\nLeading a team of early to mid-career electrical engineers on electrical developments of medium to high complexity.\nCapturing electrical design specifications, generating requirements, executing design and design validation followed by commercial release\nParticipating actively in electrical design as well as mentoring less experienced team members\nInterfacing technically with multinational and cross-functional teams both internal and with the customer.\nSharing knowledge gained in projects through updating documentation and best-practice improvements.\n Desired Electrical Skills\nA successful candidate will have good coverage of the following skills:\nExperience in an electrical lab with Oscilloscopes, Logic analyzers, meters, etc for testing and debugging electrical circuits and systems. \nMedium power (>100W) DC-DC power conversion and motor control\nData acquisition using ADCs \nSmall to medium Microcontrollers from TI C2000/MSP430 family or similar \nExposure to embedded firmware development is a plus.\nIC level component selection and schematic development in Altium Designer 16 or higher\nFamiliarity with PCBA ordering and assembly process to support purchasing of boards\nFamiliarity with proper lab soldering techniques to support modification of PCBAs\nSubsystem wiring harness design\nProfessional engineering documentation of design and procedures.\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nMasters / bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college\nMinimum 10 years of Engineering Experience.\nHave solid project management skills and the ability to lead and deliver successful projects or programs\nHave new product development and release experience\nDemonstrate effective interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships with teams, customers and stakeholders.\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
