Today, we are bringing our expertise to make energy safer, cleaner, and more efficient.\nPartner with the best:\nIn this role, as an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for developing advanced PRISMIC control systems, including embedded software, electronics integration, and control solutions. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver scalable, reliable, and high-performance embedded systems aligned with our long-term product roadmap\n.\nAs an Embedded Software Engineer, you will be responsible for:\nDesigning and developing embedded software using C/C++ for microcontrollers, QNX, and Embedded Linux environments.\nSupporting the design and development of electronic hardware including PCBs, controllers, and I/O modules.\nIntegrating embedded software with hardware systems ensuring seamless system performance.\nImplementing industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, Ethernet, and IEC standards.\nPerforming system testing, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis.\nDeveloping test procedures and ensuring compliance with system requirements and quality standards.\nSupporting full product lifecycle activities including design, documentation, and field support.\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams across engineering, manufacturing, Suppliers and service.\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave significant experience developing embedded control systems for industrial automation, power generation, turbine controls, compressor controls, or related energy applications.\nHave advanced C/C++ development experience within real-time embedded environments.\nHave hands-on experience with industrial control systems, PLCs, DCS, SCADA platforms, or equivalent control architectures.\nHave experience designing and implementing control algorithms and closed-loop control strategies.\nHave a degree in Electrical Engineering, Control Systems Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related engineering discipline.\nHave experience with QNX, RTOS, or Embedded Linux within industrial control applications.\nHave working knowledge of IEC61508, SIL-rated products, functional safety principles, or safety-critical systems.\nHave experience supporting commissioning, validation, troubleshooting, or deployment of industrial control equipment in manufacturing, field, or customer environments.\nHave experience with industrial communication protocols such as Modbus, CAN, EtherNet/IP, Profinet, or IEC61850.\nHave experience using Git/GitHub and modern software configuration management practices.\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
