Baker Hughes continues to help customers meet the world’s evolving energy needs through technology leadership, operational excellence, and a strong commitment to sustainability\nAs an Engineering Experienced Professional - Firmware and Software, your key responsibilities will include the following:\nApplication Support & Maintenance\nDemonstrate a willingness to work across multiple disciplines, contributing to development in Embedded C, C#, Golang, and REST APIs.\nSupport and maintain existing firmware and software including Hardware-in-the-loop testing and performance enhancements.\nProficient in leveraging AI tools to support daily tasks, problem-solving, and workflow optimization\nPerform bug fixes, enhancements, and environment support across DEV, QA, and PROD \nAnalyzing logs, scripts, and utilities to identify inconsistencies, performance issues, and system risks \nUnderstand end-to-end PLM lifecycle.\nDevelopment & Customization\nImplementing server-side customizations including handlers and business logic \nAligning deployed configurations with GitHub repositories and ensure consistency across environments \nWorking on integration logic and backend processing for enterprise systems interacting with applications \nBasic proficiency in SQL and database querying.\nSystem Governance & Standardization\nIdentifying and follow best DevOps practices such as logging, configuration, and environment alignment \nDocumentation & Process Compliance\nCreating and maintaining complete technical documentation for all deliverables.\nEnsuring all changes comply with defined PLM processes and are audit-ready \nCollaborating with stakeholders to translate business requirements into robust technical solutions \nDeveloping and completing all required project documentation, including the Root Cause Analysis (RCA), Functional Specification Document (FSD), Technical Design Document (TDD), and deployment documentation.\nFuel your passion!\nTo be successful in this role you will have:\nHave great problem-solving and analytical thinking \nHave Ownership, accountability, and cross-functional collaboration \nHave Focus on standardization, governance, and continuous improvement \nHave Strong communication skills and a willingness to learn and develop expertise in PLM & License Utilization Optimization. \nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.\nWorking flexible hours - flexing the times when you work in the day to help you fit everything in and work when you are the most productive.\nWorking with us\nOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
