Through hands-on experience and continuous development, our engineers help drive customer success while building the technical foundations for future leadership opportunities.\nPartner with the best\nAs a Field Engineer I, you will serve as the frontline representative of Baker Hughes' Service Delivery organization, supporting the installation, commissioning, troubleshooting, optimization, and performance monitoring of Artificial Lift Systems. You will develop technical expertise through direct field engagement while collaborating with customers, field service personnel, applications engineers, and reliability engineers to ensure safe and reliable operations. Through the LEAD Development Program, you will build the technical, commercial, and leadership capabilities necessary for future progression into advanced engineering and technical leadership roles.\n As a Field Engineer I, you will be responsible for:\nSupporting field operations for Electrical Submersible Pumping (ESP), HPump, and associated surface systems.\nAssisting with the installation, commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, and optimization of artificial lift equipment.\nMonitoring equipment performance and developing an understanding of system behavior, failure modes, and operational best practices.\nInterfacing directly with customers and field personnel to identify operational challenges, communicate solutions, and deliver exceptional service.\nCapturing lessons learned and participating in technical reviews, case studies, and continuous improvement initiatives.\nCollaborating with Applications Engineering and Reliability Engineering teams to support root cause analysis and implement corrective actions.\nMaintaining a strong commitment to safety, quality, compliance, and operational excellence in all activities.\nParticipating actively in the LEAD Development Program to build technical, business, leadership, and customer engagement competencies.\nTaking ownership of customer challenges and developing practical problem-solving skills that improve operational performance.\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nHave a Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related STEM discipline.\nDemonstrate strong mechanical and electrical aptitude with a desire to work in a dynamic field environment.\nPossess effective problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.\nBe willing to travel as required to support customer operations and field activities.\nShow a strong desire to learn, take ownership, and develop into advanced engineering and leadership roles.\nDemonstrate a commitment to safety, quality, and customer-focused execution.\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.
