Our team designs real time systems for the condition monitoring of machines in the energy sector.\nPartner with the best\nAs an FPGA Design Engineer, you will be responsible for the design, verification and testing of the different FPGA based modules as a part of larger system. You will be using cutting-edge technology to build solutions for the energy sector.\nContributing to architecture definition, RTL design, simulation, functional verification, timing closure, and hardware bring-up. \nTranslating system requirements into efficient FPGA implementations, perform debugging and validation, and support product releases. \nProviding design and verification, release testing or beta support for complex software solutions that drive business value \nCollaborating with cross-functional teams to build relationships and create efficient, cost effective and scalable design solutions \nWorking with internal and external stakeholders to translate requirements into project or product design documentation \nKey Responsibilities:\nDevelop FPGA designs using System Verilog for Altera and Xilinx devices. \nPerform simulation, verification, and debugging of FPGA functionality. \nEnsure timing closure and optimize FPGA resource utilization. \nSupport board-level integration, hardware validation, and product testing. \nDocument design specifications, verification results, and development processes. \nCollaborate with hardware, firmware, and system engineering teams throughout the product lifecycle. \nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nBachelor’s or master’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering \nHave proven engineering experience of minimum 3 years within an engineering environment \nHave experience on Altera (Intel FPGA) and Xilinx (AMD FPGA) platforms \nDemonstrate experience with FPGA based systems. \nDemonstrate good logic design concepts and computer design \nBe proficient inVerilog, and have had exposure to industry simul ators \nBe able to build expertise in front end RTL design flow steps like lint, CDC, STA etc \nExcellent Code debug skills \nLead and contribute within Agile/Scrum development frameworks, partnering with hardware, firmware, software, and systems teams to plan, develop, verify, and deliver FPGA solutions aligned with sprint objectives and product roadmaps. \nExperience with FPGA development tools, verification methodologies, and high-speed digital design is highly desirable. \nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone too.\nWorking flexible hours - flexing the times when you work in the day to help you fit everything in and work when you are the most productive\nWorking with us\nOur people are at the heart of what we do at Baker Hughes.
