You can expect to receive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset.\nYou will also have the opportunity to become familiar with the Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) and culture of Baker Hughes. as well as our strong commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion.\nAs an Intern, you will be responsible for:\nCompleting internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements\nLearning internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks\nCollaborating with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders\nApplying Health, Safety, and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained\nCompleting internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements\nAssisting engineers or technologists with ongoing projects by conducting research, data analysis, and providing technical support.\nParticipating in the design process, creating drawings or prototypes, and contributing to the development of new products or technologies.\nKeeping accurate records of experiments, designs, and project-related information, and preparing reports or documentation as needed.\nCollaborate in software development, coding, or programming tasks with engineers.\nWorking as part of a team and communicating effectively with colleagues, engineers, and supervisors to achieve project goals, and identifying and addressing technical issues or challenges that arise during projects and proposing solutions.\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nBe currently enrolled or recently graduated in a Bachelors’ or Masters’ level degree in Engineering, Technology, Mechanics, other STEM-related or business-related program.\nHave maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country\nBe fluent in oral and written English and have effective communication skills\nBe able to legally work in the country that you are applying in, without company sponsorship or time restriction\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognize that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
