During your internship you will be supported by a buddy and your manager who will ensure that you have a valuable learning experience.\nRole description\nAs an intern, you will have an opportunity to:\nDevelop, refine, and review finite element models for structural, thermal, fatigue, stability, and mechanical assessments of critical equipment\nEvaluate stresses and other relevant acceptance criteria against applicable codes and engineering standards\nSupport fitness-for-service assessments, remaining-life evaluations, and investigations of cracking, deformation, vibration, or unexpected operating behaviour\nReceive coaching and mentoring to enable you to complete assignments and projects to develop your learning and skillset\nComplete internal projects to deliver customer outcomes and identify business improvements\nLearn internal software to assist with the completion of projects and tasks\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and interns to interact and network with global business leaders\nApply Health, Safety and Environment (HS&E) standards and procedures in all situations to ensure compliance is maintained\nFuel your passion\nTo be successful in this role you will:\nBe currently enrolled in a Bachelors or Masters level degree program in Mechanical Engineering or related field.\nHave maintained a GPA grade greater than or equal to 3.0 out of 4.0 or the equivalent in your country\nBe in your in your final or penultimate year of degree studies\nBe fluent in oral and written English\nHave the legal right to work without restrictions or have company sponsorship in the country you have applied\nWork in a way that works for you\nWe recognise that everyone is different and that the way in which people want to work and deliver at their best is different for everyone.
